Methanol, UniSolv(R)

Methanol, UniSolv(R), is also called methyl alcohol or "wood alcohol" it was one of the by products of distillation of wood. As the simplest alcohol around, it is light, flammable, colorless liquid with a strong and distinctive odor. It has many uses including acting as an antifreeze,( due to it's polar liquid properties), solvent, fuel as well as a denaturant for ethanol.
