At Lab Pro, we want to ensure that all our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If you need to return an item, please read and follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth process.
To initiate a return, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by contacting us within 30 days of receiving your merchandise.
You can reach us via email at info@labproinc.com or by calling 888-4-LABPRO. All returns must be pre-approved, and the RMA number must accompany the return shipment. Without the RMA number, your return will not be processed.
Except for items that are returned due to a warranty repair failure, all products must be returned unused, unopened, unmarked, and in resalable condition.
You must include:
• the original packaging
• all accessories
• certificates,
• manuals
Please do not write on the original packaging. The RMA number should be written on the return shipping box, not the manufacturer’s packaging.
Returns that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.
The time frame for returns depends on the type of product. Non-defective items must be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt, while defective products must be returned within 30 days of shipment from our warehouse. Defective products may be exchanged for the same item or, at Lab Pro’s discretion, refunded to the original payment method.
If Lab Pro Inc. determines that the return is due to customer error, such items must be returned at the customer's expense. For defective items, Lab Pro will reimburse the cost of ground return shipping once the product has been verified as defective. However, if the return shipment is sent using expedited or premium shipping, those costs will not be reimbursed. Please retain all shipping documentation and tracking numbers until your return has been confirmed as received and processed.
Risk of Loss: The risk of loss on items to be returned does not pass to Lab Pro until the items are received by Lab Pro or an authorized vendor.
If you receive a damaged product, please follow these steps to report and return it:
• Inspect: Check the item immediately for damage. If it’s visible, note it on the bill of lading or delivery ticket.
• Refuse Delivery: For capital equipment, refuse the delivery and notify the carrier immediately.
• Report Damage: If the damage is not visible but discovered upon unpacking, save the original packaging and contact Lab Pro as soon as possible.
• Submit Photos: Email a photo of the damaged item, the packaging, and the bill of lading (or tracking number for small packages) to info@labproinc.com.
Lab Pro is not responsible for any damage not reported in accordance with this procedure. Capital equipment that has been damaged should be refused and left with the delivery company or carrier.
Certain items are non-returnable under any circumstances, including chemicals, hazardous materials, refrigerated or sterile products, glassware, made-to-order or special-order items, obsolete or discontinued items, and products that have been used, expired, or are in partial quantities. Additionally, a restocking fee of 20% of the original order price may apply to returns of non-defective items.
Refunds for purchases made using BitPay will be processed in US dollars, based on the original invoice amount.
For a return to be processed smoothly, please ensure the following items are included:
• Original packaging (box, Styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
• Original UPC barcode (do not cut it out until you’ve tested the product)
• Valid RMA number
• Original packing slip
• All accessories (transformers, antennas, remote controls, batteries, software disks, etc.)
• Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, etc.)
Please note: The RMA number should be written on the return shipping box, not on the manufacturer’s original packaging. If the packaging is written on, the return will be refused and sent back at the customer's expense.
Defective products can only be returned for an exchange or, at Lab Pro’s discretion, refunded to the original payment method. Defective products must be returned within 30 days of shipment. Once the return is processed, we will send the replacement product, depending on its availability. We will reimburse the return shipping costs for defective products, but only if they are sent via ground shipping. Expedited shipping costs will not be reimbursed.
If you wish to return a non-defective item, the return must be pre-approved and assigned a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Such returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the merchandise.
All non-defective items must be returned in their original box, unmarked, unused, unopened, and in resaleable condition. Items must include all accessories, certificates, and manuals contained in the original shipment.
