Return Policy

How do I return an item?

  1. Lab Pro will only accept returned goods if such return complies with the provisions in this policy.
  2. To ensure credit, returns must be pre-approved by an authorized a Lab Pro Inc. representative, and assigned a return goods authorization number which must accompany the return.
  3. A request for return must be initiated within 14 days of the receipt of the merchandise.
  4. Risk of loss on items to be returned does not pass to Lab Pro Inc. until received by Lab Pro Inc. or an authorized vendor of Lab Pro Inc
  5. If Lab Pro Inc. determines that the return is a result of customer error, such items must be returned at the expense of the customer.
  6. Except for items which are returned as a result of a warranty repair failure, all items must be returned in their original box unmarked, unused, unopened and in resaleable condition.
  7. All items must be returned in their original box and packed in a sufficient exterior box for return shipping, and include all accessories, certificates, and manuals included in the original shipment.

The following items may not be returned:

  • Chemicals and Hazardous items may not be returned, even if they are unopened or unused.
  • Refrigerated or sterile products may not be returned, even if they are unmarked or unused.
  • Glassware and Glassware equipment may not be returned, even if they are unopened or unused.
  •  Made-to-order, special order or specially ordered items (items not routinely stocked by Lab Pro Inc. or currently not sold by Lab Pro Inc.) may not be returned unless a vendor is willing to take back a specially ordered item. The return of a specially ordered item is subject to any restocking fee charged by the vendor.
  • Obsolete, discontinued, expired, short-dated, used, or items in units of measure less than the original may not be returned for credit.

Restocking Fee:

Note that returns are subject to a minimum restocking fee of 20% and can range up to 35% of original order price.

Damaged Products:

Any damages and exceptions must be noted on the bill of lading or delivery ticket. Capital equipment that has been damaged should be refused and left with the delivery company or carrier. The item must be inspected immediately for concealed damage. In the event of any such damage, the original shipping container must be saved for inspection. Lab Pro Inc. should be notified immediately of such damage. Failure to adhere to this policy will release Lab Pro Inc. from any responsibility regarding replacement and/or credit.

If you have received damaged merchandise, please email a photo of the damaged item with submission of RMA form showing damage, item packaging, interior and exterior shipping box and a signed bill of lading for truck shipments or tracking number for small package. Please hold all damaged material for carrier inspection until further notice.

To submit a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request, please contact info@labproinc.com or 888-4-LABPRO. Capital equipment that has been damaged should be refused and left with the delivery company or carrier. The item must be inspected immediately for concealed damage. In the event of any such damage, the original shipping container must be saved for inspection. Lab Pro Inc. should be notified immediately of such damage. ALL RETURNS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Original packaging (manufacturer's box, Styrofoam, plastic bags, etc.)
  • Original intact UPC barcode. Do not cut out the UPC code (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of return regardless of RMA or credit request status.
  • Valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • Original packing slip. Do not mail or dispose of the packing slip (for rebates) until you have examined and tested the product to your satisfaction.
  • The return must be complete and include all accessories (transformers, antennas, remote controls, batteries, software disks, etc.)
  • Manufacturer documentation (manuals, warranty cards, registration information, etc.)
  • The RMA number must not be written on the original manufacturer's packaging or box. Please write the RMA number on the label used to return the item or the brown shipping box. Items received with any writing on the original manufacturer's packaging or box will be refused and returned to you at your cost and without credit approval.
Return Policy

RETURNS MUST MEET ALL APPLICABLE CRITERIA

If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed above, it will be rejected by our Returns Department and returned at our customer’s expense. Consequently, your return will be nullified, any credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be made, and you will be charged for all shipping to and from our Returns Department that may be incurred by Lab Pro Inc. By requesting an RMA and/or shipping a return in violation of this policy you hereby agree to accept our shipment of the return back to you and to the payment of all shipping costs to and from our Returns Department. Our arrangements with our suppliers and manufacturers allow us no room to make exceptions.

Defective Products

Defective Products Defective products can only be returned in exchange for the exact same product, or at the sole discretion of Lab Pro Inc., the purchase price will be credited to the credit card used for the original purchase. Defective products may only be returned within 14 days of the date your product left the warehouse (regardless of when customer took delivery of the product). Once your return is processed and is verified to meet the basic criteria above and to be defective, your replacement order will be sent to fulfillment. How quickly your replacement product ships after that depends on product availability.

For products that we verify to be defective, we will reimburse you for your original shipping expenses, provided that your defective return must be shipped via ground shipment only. If you return your product via a faster, more expensive shipper, customer will incur the expenses yourself and any request for reimbursement will be denied.
