Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Program
Lab Pro’s Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program or Kanban helps our customers with their inventory management load. We do that by providing a scheduling system for lean and just-in-time inventory. How does it work? A Lab Pro specialist will personally manage our customer’s inventory based on a mutually agreed upon list of items using min/max levels. This service is usually performed weekly and can be adjusted based upon any schedule. Additionally, if access is provided to your facility, Lab Pro can enter your premises and stock back-up inventory to ensure uninterrupted service.
