Key performance benefit: Measures surface resistance to classify materials as conductive, dissipative, or insulative across a wide range of 10³ to 10¹² ohms, enabling accurate ESD surface verification in controlled environments.
Material & construction: Features built-in parallel resistivity probes fitted with conductive rubber for reliable surface contact. Compatible with external probes, including 5 lb disc probes, handheld probe, two-point probe, and concentric ring probes for expanded testing flexibility.
Risk reduction/compliance benefit: Enables systematic verification of ESD control surfaces, including workbenches, floors, chairs, carts, clothing, and packaging materials, reducing the risk of undetected non-compliant surfaces within an EPA.
Protection level: Measurements performed with external electrodes meet the requirements of ANSI ESD S20.20 and IEC 61340-5-1.
Comfort & usability: Automatically selects between 10V and 100V test voltage based on material being tested. The LED display provides immediate pass/fail classification. Stores up to 9,801 readings internally with USB data export and includes report-building software.
