FAQs
What does the Harley L-188 N95 respirator protect against?
It is a NIOSH-certified particulate respirator that filters out at least 95% of airborne particles at a particle size of 0.3 micron. It is designed for particulate protection in dusty or particle-laden environments, but it is not a surgical mask and does not provide liquid barrier protection.
Is the L-188 NIOSH certified?
Yes. The mask is NIOSH certified, meaning features such as penetration, breathing resistance, and strap strength meet or exceed NIOSH standards. For the official list, the product page references the CDC list of NIOSH-Approved N95 Particulate Filtering Facepiece Respirators.
What is the mask made of?
The mask uses PP non-woven fabric with a high-efficiency, low-resistance meltblown electrostatic cotton filter media. The headbands are latex-free, and the nose piece is adjustable aluminum with padded foam inside the mask for comfort. This combination supports filtration performance and a comfortable, adaptable fit.
Can this N95 be used as a surgical mask?
No. This N95 mask is a respirator and is not intended for use as a surgical mask or to provide liquid barrier protection. If liquid or splash barrier protection is required, select a mask specifically cleared for surgical use instead. Always match the respirator to the hazard.
How many masks come in a box?
The L-188 is supplied in 20 masks per box in a foldable, flat-fold style that is easy to store and transport. The foldable design helps keep individual masks clean and compact until needed, making the box practical for workplaces that use respirators regularly.
