Cleantack Cleanroom Tape is made of low-density polyethylene film with pressure-sensitive adhesive backing. This low particulate, contaminant-free tape is wound on a clean plastic core and individually packaged in heat-sealed bags.
The tape is produced and packaged in a Class 100 cleanroom and adheres to nearly all surfaces, including metal, plastic, and packaging. On most surfaces, it is easily removable with little to no adhesive transfer.
The permanently tacky adhesive bonds well to most surfaces over a wide range of temperatures and moisture conditions. The tape provides excellent holding power, a strong low-temperature bond, and good tear characteristics.
When supplied on a plastic core and properly treated, #35 Polyethylene provides less particulate and higher adhesion than standard vinyl tapes and leaves no adhesive residue on removal.
