Secador Mini Desiccator Cabinet is made from durable, clear SAN plastic which allows for long-life and easy observation of contents. The door swings open from right to left and is fitted with a dial hygrometer calibrated from 0 to 100% Relative Humidity*. A single positive latch on the door furnishes a secure seal and a lock-loop on the door permits a padlock or a tamper evident tag to be used to prevent unauthorized opening. Dry-storage conditions can be generated with single-use or reusable desiccant (Scienceware® Cat. No. F42048-0065 or F42048-0100, F42046-0000, or F42045-0200). An optional under shelf mounting kit (Scienceware® Cat. No. F42075-0201) is available to conserve desktop area.
The Secador Mini Desiccator Cabinet is factory assembled and no attempt should be made to loosen or tighten the hardware on this unit. The user should be aware that if the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired. Secador Mini Desiccator Cabinets (except the Mini with Gas Ports) can be stacked atop one another by interlocking the ridges located on top of one unit with ridges located on bottom of another. Up to a total of four (4) units can be vertically stacked in this fashion.
To clean the product we recommend the use of Bel-Art Products Aquet™ Detergent, Cat. No. F17094-0030 and a soft, clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers which will leave scratches. CAUTIONS for Secador Mini Desiccator and Mini Desiccator with Gas Ports:
- Do not place in front of a heating or air-conditioning duct
- Do not place near a heating device
- Do not place in direct sunlight
- Do not place in areas with smoke or steam
- Do not attempt to introduce pressure or vacuum inside the cabinet
- Do not place any explosive or hazardous chemicals in the cabinets
- Do not autoclave
- Indoor use only
- Use only within ambient temperature range of 5° C to 40°C
*The analog hygrometer supplied with this desiccator cabinet is a reliable and accurate instrument. The hygrometer is factory calibrated. Do not attempt to adjust the settings.
